Privacy policy

Your health information is personal, and we treat it that way. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic). Here is the short version of how we handle it.
What we collect
Your contact details, date of birth, health fund or claim details, and the health information you share with us, like your history, symptoms, and our treatment notes. We collect it when you book, fill in forms, call or email us, or send an enquiry through our website or a Facebook or Instagram form.
How we use it
To look after you: treating you, keeping your records, managing appointments and reminders, processing payments and claims, and replying to your enquiries. If you agree, we may also send occasional clinic updates, which you can unsubscribe from any time. We never sell your information.
Who we share it with
Only who we need to. That might be your GP or other practitioners (with your consent), your health fund, Medicare, TAC or WorkCover when you claim, and the trusted services we use to run the clinic, such as Cliniko for bookings and records. Some of these services, like our enquiry system and website tools, may store data overseas, mainly in the US. Our clinical records stay in Australia.
Our website
Like most websites, we use cookies and tools from Google, Meta, and Microsoft to see how people use the site and how our ads perform. They never see your clinical records. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings.
Keeping it safe
Your records are stored securely with limited access. We keep health records for as long as Victorian law requires, generally seven years after your last visit (or until age 25 for patients under 18), then securely destroy them.
Seeing or updating your information
Just ask. You can request a copy of what we hold or ask us to correct anything, and we will get back to you within 30 days.
